		<description>Great find!  It&#039;s definitely a well written summary of the case against the SAT.  In fact, the more and more I read, the more I feel that this author is spot on: Just kill the test.

However, I think he&#039;s a bit harsh on coaching.  As an SAT/ACT tutor myself, I know that kids absolutely benefit from learning test taking skills.  Yes, some of them benefit a lot (100-200 points) and some don&#039;t benefit at all.  Generally high school GPA is a good indicator of how much work they will put in to improving.</description>
