		<description>Students and teachers of languages might be interested in knowing about a study that shows a link between students&#039; experiences studying abroad and their ability to perform creative problem solving. In addition, Utah schools have implemented mandatory language instruction in which students from the first grade on spend half of each day studying Mandarin, French or Spanish. The results: a heightened appreciation of foreign cultures and better overall test scores indicating heightened learning abilities.
