Simple List for High School Seniors
It’s a widely accepted truth that spring term is the most abhorred of the academic year. There’s a good chance it’s one of the circles of hell. High school seniors who’ll be heading off to college in the fall are so over all the work they’ve put in thus far, every cell in their burnt out bodies is screaming to be finished. Seniors (and their cells, apparently) are fresh out of blood, sweat, and tears and it’s all they can do not to write it all off and just let go until June.
Slacking off now is probably not the best plan. Perfection to the 80-billionth degree is no longer necessary, but there are a few deadlines and dates to be aware of so you don’t hose your future completely.
Allen Grove has a simple but detailed list of everything a high school senior needs to do between now and August/September, when college newbie frosh head for the dorms. Hang in there, follow the list, and it’ll all be fine. And breathe (you have time for that now). And perhaps unclench just a little.

Grove’s list is such a graet resource! I’m a school counselor moving from a middle school up to a high school next year, and I’m a little intimidated about all the college coaching I’ll need to do with our seniors. This is a huge help! Thanks for sharing!
